OMG! Cool shit!
Well, today I did the regular taxi service for my sister. Then I tried to get some stuff done, then realized how much I still need to get done and how not ready for school I am. Then I did more taxi service. Then I got my oil change. Then I had what might have been a nervous breakdown, but I’m not sure. Then was feeling better, so I got my financial aid stuff done. Then I went to the movies. Omigod, movies was such a good idea.
So, first off: The movie Legion looks like it’s going to be awesome, but it will piss off all the Abrahamic folks. (*grin and chuckle*)

So we went to see District 9. Okay, if you like action movies and thinky movies, you have to see this. And see it in theaters, ‘cuz if you steal this movie you are evil and will fester in the special hell for child molesters and people who talk in theaters. It’s basically loaded with humanitarian overtones, and it’s sort of an Apartheid allegory. Okay, so imagine the action of 300 plus that of Watchmen times like 5 with the special effects, then at least as much intellectual stimulation as the latter. It also has the suck value of an LOTR movie, so negative suckiness. So if a is action, i is thinkiness, and let’s add s for suck:
District 9 = (300 + W)a + Wi + LOTRs
Now you’ve got a movie with a pretty good vector value. I never thought seeing things go splat would be so much fun.
